Here we find a teal and yellow flower…I’m calling this one “Marquette’s Daisy” a nod to my gradeschool days at the Catholic School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This reminds me of the innocent fun I had with my best friend, Beth Keefer, playing on the jungle gym and running off to the QT for a cherry slushy.
I die cut the two flowers and glued them between a few buttons. For the hanging loop, I bent old earring wires, then attached a silver jump ring so it would lay flat against my neck.
The necklace part I found rolling around in a box of old jewelry. And since it was a bit dull, I strung blue twine through the links.
It’s so cute I want to do cartwheels!
